In a world flooded with beauty products promising miracles, it’s easy to forget where real healing begins. For our family, it started in the kitchen, with a mum on a mission.
Years ago, we found ourselves facing the same frustrations many families experience: shelves filled with lotions and potions, each claiming to be “natural” or “gentle,” yet filled with synthetic chemicals, fragrances, and preservatives. These products were doing more harm than good, especially for our children, who were struggling with sensitive skin and conditions like eczema.
So, our mum did what mothers have always done when their family needs healing: she went on a mission to find answers!
The First Balm: A Mother’s Act of Love
She began researching ingredients, looking beyond the flashy marketing and digging into traditional remedies. What she discovered wasn’t new—it was ancient. For centuries, people used simple, nourishing ingredients like grass-fed tallow, calendula, rosehip oil, and beeswax to protect and restore the skin.
Armed with this ancestral wisdom and a desire to bring comfort and healing to her children, she began experimenting in the kitchen. The first balm was a humble blend of organic tallow, caster oil and beeswax!
It worked.
Skin healed.
Confidence returned.
And slowly, friends and family started asking, “What are you using?”

We chose the name Origin because it speaks to our commitment to return to the original, untampered wisdom of the earth. Return to Eden reflects the purity, peace, and harmony we strive to offer through every product.
Our mum remains the heart and soul of the brand—she’s the expert behind every recipe. Her unwavering dedication to using only the cleanest, most nurturing ingredients continues to guide our every step.
